Choosing the right center for your child is one of the most important decisions you’ll make. You want to know they will be supported, encouraged, and understood, and that your family is entering a community where you truly belong.

Here is how our admissions process works:

Schedule a Tour: Visit our center, meet our team, observe a live session, and learn how the assessment works so you know what to expect.

Pre-Screen: A quick conversation to understand your child's needs and ensure our program is the right fit.

Assessment: Our multidisciplinary team evaluates your child together.

Offer: We confirm program placement and extend a formal offer.

Enrollment: Before day one, your child's tailored plan is finalized by the exact team working with them.

Application: Submit your application and required documents. We'll guide you if anything is missing.

Does my child need a formal diagnosis to apply?

No, a formal diagnosis is not required to start the process. While not mandatory, bringing any past developmental reports, psychological assessments, or previous learning milestone records is highly encouraged.

What ages do you serve?

The Ontario Center serves children and young adults from age 2 through 21+ across our specialized programs

What languages is instruction in?

Our daily programs are conducted in English and Arabic. Our team is multicultural, and specialists communicate with participants in additional languages as needed to ensure comfort, safety, and clear connection.

How does enrollment work?

When a space becomes available, we’ll send you an enrollment packet. Admission is finalized once the packet is completed in its entirety.

How long does the admissions process take?

The timeline varies by family and program, but we respond to every inquiry within one business day, and we will keep you clearly informed at each of the six steps along the way.

Can my child move between programs as they grow?

Yes, this is one of the key advantages of the Ontario Center. A student's daily support plan, history, and core care team carry forward as they transition between our programs.

What if we're not sure which program is the right fit?

That is exactly what the initial tour and pre-screen conversation are for. Our multidisciplinary team will help you discover the perfect starting point before you apply.

Is there financial support available?

Yes. We maintain an internally funded, need-based tuition assistance programme to support families with complex communication, learning, and sensory needs.

How are tuition assistance decisions made?

Our admissions are completely need-blind. We accept your child based on their developmental profile first. Once accepted, financial aid is allocated strictly based on your family's documented financial need and our available annual operating budget.

Do I need to reapply for tuition assistance every year?

Yes. Because family financial circumstances and our internal operational revenues change, applications must be resubmitted and re-evaluated annually to ensure fair distribution.
